Quick answers
What are credits, and when do they come back?
Each family has 10 credits a week, shared by all its learners. Unlocking a lesson, making a quest, or starting a 30-minute session of Tic-Tac-Four, the Python Playground or the Sketch Pad uses one, and opening a lesson again doesn’t use another. An earlier lesson that hasn’t been made yet is unlocked first and then prepared for you. Each day a family can make one Paper Quest and one Quick Quest, and have one earlier lesson prepared. If a quest or lesson can’t be made, its credit comes back. Credits come back every Monday, and you can set a lower weekly limit in Settings.
How do I leave learner mode?
Tap Exit, beside the learner’s name at the top of the page, and enter your parent PIN.
When can the Answers be opened?
A while after a lesson is unlocked (an hour, unless you change it in Settings), a grown-up can open the Answers with the parent PIN. That leaves time to do the worksheet first. Marks can be entered once the Answers are open.
I forgot my parent PIN. What now?
On the PIN prompt, choose “Forgot PIN?”. Sign in again with your password or Google, then choose a new PIN.
How does the Kogito Playground work, and can I turn it off?
In learner mode, the Kogito Playground has the Python Playground, Tic-Tac-Four and the Sketch Pad. Unlocking a session uses one credit and gives 30 minutes. You can switch each one off in Settings, under Learning.
Can I take down a story I shared?
Of course. Email hello@kogito.online from the email address or mobile number you gave (or mention it), and we’ll remove your words and photo from kogito.online.
Which boards, grades and subjects does Kogito cover?
